Flat City Blues

Even in the smallest slices of time, riding my bike from the auto repair shop, back to the office, roaming around back streets during lunch break,  I find interest in the most empty of all spaces, sad facades, mirroring my hollowness. Flat city blues keep my comfort, as I distill the blank walls, closed doors, mocking my rigid anchoring as imagine the fronts collapsing, and revealing myself on the other side looking back into the lens.
